James Arcoleo, D.O.

Dr. James Arcoleo performed his internal medicine residency at Albany Medical Center, and both cardiovascular and interventional cardiology training at Baystate Medical Center. He holds board certifications in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, endovascular intervention, and vascular medicine. He is the president of both Franklin County Cardiovascular Associates and Hampden County Cardiovascular Associates. He has offices in multiple locations including Greenfield, Springfield, and Northampton.
His professional interests include carotid, coronary and peripheral interventions. He is the highest volume producer of carotid and peripheral interventions in Western Mass specializing in challenging chronic occlusive vascular disease and limb salvage cases. He has also been chosen to be a co-investigator of the CREST-2 carotid artery trial at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is also well versed in venous disease performing laser vein ablations in an outpatient setting for symptomatic varicose veins and venous ulceration. He founded and runs very busy accredited vascular and echo labs in of his Western Massachusetts office locations. His interests include classical piano, stemming from his attendance at the Julliard School of Music in Manhattan.

Dr. Ali Haider

Dr. Ali Haider is an Assistant Professor of Medicine of Tufts University Medical School. He received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Dr. Haider continued his Internal Medicine training at the Montefiore Medical Center of Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He then went on to complete his Cardiology Fellowship at North Shore/LIJ-Hofstra University School of Medicine in Long Island, and subsequently did an additional year of fellowship in Interventional and Endovascular Cardiology at New York Presbyterian Hospital at Weil-Cornell Medical School in the Upper East Side of New York City. Dr. Haider is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, and Vascular Ultrasound. He is well versed in all aspects of cardiology. His areas of interest include coronary angioplasty and interventions, and the treatment of peripheral vascular disease as well as structural heart disease. He is a member of the Valve Team at Baystate Medical Center and is one of three cardiologists in Western Massachusetts performing TAVR procedures to treat aortic valve stenosis minimally invasively. Over the years, he has published research in the areas of acute coronary syndromes, congestive heart failure, and valvular heart disease. He also been a sub-investigator of clinical trials conducted at Baystate Medical Center. Dr. Haider is currently accepting new patients. Dr. Shalabh Chandra attended medical School in India at the Seth G S Medical College at the University of Mumbai. He obtained his Master’s of Public Health at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.  Dr. Chandra performed his Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiology Fellowship at Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. He served as the chief cardiology fellow at MSU. Dr. Chandra then completed a cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and pursued a year of advanced cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at University of Massachusetts Memorial Hospital and Medical School. Dr. Chandra specializes in advanced ablation techniques of cardiac arrhythmias including afib ablation and VT ablation.
Dr. Chandra’s professional interests lie in heart rhythm disorders, cardiac device base therapies and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias inclusive of afib, SVT and VT. Dr. Chandra has a personal interest in mind-body wellness.  He has been an instructor of Art of Living Wellness programs for the last several years. He conducts wellness programs for community, patients and physicians and has multiple years of experience teaching meditation and yoga based techniques. Dr. Nitin Bhatnagar

Dr. Nitin Bhatnagar did his medical training at the University of New England Medical School in Maine. He performed his Internal Medicine residency at University of Massachusetts at Amherst.  Dr. Bhatnagar then completed his fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Baystate Medical Center campus of Tufts University. He has been a practicing cardiologist with the group for thirteen years. He performs Transesophageal Echocardiograms, Cardioversions, Pacemaker Implants, and Cardiac Catheterizations. His outside interests include marine biology, astronomy, classical music, and writing.

Dr. Amir Mohani received his medical degree from Nkp Salve Institute of Medical Sciences in 1999 and has been in practice for ten years. He completed his residency at Hospital of Saint Raphael.

Dr. Kashef earned his medical degree from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences.  He performed his Internal Medicine residency at Royal Australian College of Physicians in Melbourne, Australia and Baystate Medical Center.  His Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology fellowships were completed at University of Massachusetts Medical School/Baystate Medical Center program.  Dr. Kashef earned a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.  He has published several articles in peer-reviewed medical journals.
Dr. Kashef is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease,  Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology and RPVI (Vascular Interpretation).  Dr. Kashef’s areas of interests include coronary and peripheral vascular interventions. His internal Medicine residency was completed at Muhlenberg Hospital, Plainfield, New Jersey where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Kenia’s Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship was completed at Baystate Medical Center. Dr. Kenia serves as a Senior Clinical Instructor for Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston, MA. He has been in private practice serving the cardiology needs of his patients for the past thirty six years. Dr. Kenia’s interests include cardiac catheterizations, coronary angiograms, stress echocardiograms, cardiac risk factor modification and valvular heart disease. Dr. Kenia’s board certifications include Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. His outside interests include partaking in medical care in his home county of India helping indigent patients. Dr. Kenia also likes to travel.
